There are different ways to install EMorF. The recommeded way to install EMorF is via the update site.

Note: EMorF supports the Eclipse Indigo (3.7.2) and Juno release.

Using the EMorF Update-Site for Installation


If you have installed the eclipse marketplace client in your Eclipse instance you can just drag and drop the install button in your workspace.

Otherwise go to the Eclipse IDE and select Help > Install New Software... and press the Add... button.
The following dialog is opened.

Enter "EMorF Update Site" into the name field, enter http://download.emorf.org/updates into the location field and click OK to close the dialog. Select "EMorF" in the list of available software and click Next. Please check if the items listed in the following image are also listed in your dialog.

Review the items to be installed and click Next. If requested, accept the license agreement and click Finish to start the installation.

Restart Eclipse. Start to use EMorF.

Using the EMorF Zip-Archive for Installation

Download emorf-update-site-0.4.2.zip. Go to the Eclipse IDE and select Help > Install New Software.... and press the Add... button.
Click the Archive button, enter "EMorF Archive" into the name field, select the downloaded zip file (emorf-update-site-0.4.2.zip) and click OK to close the dialog. Select "EMorF" in the list of available software and click Next. Review the items to be installed and click Next. If requested, accept the license agreement and click Finish to start the installation.

Restart Eclipse. Start to use EMorF.

Note: It is also possible to unzip the archive and to move the features and plugins folders into the dropins folder of your Eclipse installation. However, this is not recommended.

You get the source code when you install the EMorF Source feature.
